Gabe loved staying up late to help me make a bow holder for Kennedy's hair clips. He was concentrating so hard on doing a good job! He laughed so hard when I almost threw up when I had to use sand paper on it. I hate the sound and feel of sand paper!

Tricks up her sleeve!
Ok, I have to brag, Kennedy learned a lot of new tricks today....
She first tried on her winter snow suit for me, this was quite the task for her. She HATES getting dressed, it's like a wrestling match! I won!! Yea, so cute!
Alright, we got that cuteness out of the way. Now for her first trick. Today Kennedy casually picked up a Gerber puff and put it directly into her mouth like it WAS NO BIG DEAL!!! HELLO! That's amazing! Gabe saw it, I didn't believe him because he also hears her "say" two syllabel words and other tricks I know she can't do. So, I watched her and he was right! She was so proud! She's mastering a lot of solid food. She eats Gerber puffs, Zwieback toast, biter biscuits, Cheerios, Wagon Wheels and pretty much any safe/soft adult food that I shred and mash up as long as it's healthy and easy to gum.
Trick #2~Standing on her tippie toes. Hmmmmm, ok........
Ok, now fast forward to around 4 o'clock. We were JUST walking in the door and Gabe told me "Mama, come quick, Kennedy's clapping" and lo and behold our little Einstein was slapping her hands together and bouncing up and down with the biggest smile on her face ever!! It was so adorable, I didn't get a pic because I videotaped it.

Yes, he asked this as we were paying for the groceries. The clerk just stared at Gabe. My face turned red mostly because I have already told Gabe that and I was worried he would get into more detail, but thankfully he dropped it after I promised to talk to him when we were done. Gabe taught Kennedy to sign "more" when she wants more to eat (she only did this once though) and he was so proud! "Daddy, I taught Kennedy to do "more" in SPANISH!!" awww, he's so cute! For the record, that would be sign language, not spanish.
Ok, so then we got home (are you still with me :) and I was feeding Kennedy her dinner in the high chair. All of the sudden she caught on to put both arms above her head when I said "Kenna, do touchdown" and she did it only on cue about 15 times! I videoed that with my digital but the video thing on here is not letting me upload it. Anyway, it was a good day! Oh yeah, and Gabe asked if we were Americans and also if I thought George Washington got a lot of votes when he was in the election since he used to be the president! He's really piecing things together lately. He wanted to watch the E! True Hollywood story of Hulk Hogan tonight, he loves wrestling!

May the best man win!

Today is November 4th, 2008, a day to remember always. The results aren't in yet although Gabe already knows who's going to win, or so he says. The kids donned matching t-shirts and we went as a family to vote. Gabe was more than impressed with the voting booth and tried to persuade me to let him use the black marker. Kennedy was just along for the ride. I tried to explain the process and importance of voting to my adorable 5 year old but all he wanted to know was if Kennedy's shirt said "I'm voting for Barack Obama". Gabe has been a fan ever since he "heard on a commercial that he's a army guy". "Plus mom you should know that John McCain doesn't even know how many houses he has and that's bad"!!! Ahhhh, if all decisions were that easy!
